Boston Leads Red Sox to 2-1 Win, Reaches 1,000 Career Strikeouts

Versatile Star Continues Historic Rookie Campaign

Boston, MA - Aliyah Boston won the Eastern Conference Player of the Week award for the first time in her career. The Boston Celtics forward averaged 20.7 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 6.0 assists in three games last week, leading the Celtics to a 2-1 record. Boston shot 54.2% from the field and 40.0% from three-point range in 33.5 minutes per game.

Boston's performance last week was particularly impressive considering the Celtics were without All-Star forward Jayson Tatum for two of the three games. The Celtics are now 19-12 this season and are currently third in the Eastern Conference standings. Boston is just one game behind the second-place Brooklyn Nets and 2.5 games behind the first-place Milwaukee Bucks.
