The Surrey Police Service is pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Lipinski as its new Chief of Police. Lipinski has served as Deputy Chief in the City of Surrey for the past five years.

Lipinski has a deep understanding of the City of Surrey and its policing needs. He has worked closely with the community and has a proven track record of success in reducing crime and improving public safety.

Lipinski is a graduate of the University of British Columbia and the FBI National Academy. He has also served as a police officer in the City of Vancouver.

The Surrey Police Service is confident that Lipinski will be a strong leader and will continue to build on the success of the department.

Lipinski will assume his new role on March 20, 2016.
