Beetlejuice 2: Official German Trailer Released

35 Years after the Original, Beetlejuice Returns to the Big Screen

Warner Bros. has released the official trailer for Beetlejuice 2, the long-awaited sequel to Tim Burton's 1988 classic. The film, which is set to hit theaters in September 2024, brings back Michael Keaton in the titular role alongside an all-new cast.

The trailer reveals that Beetlejuice 2 will follow the original film's events. A new family moves into the Maitland's former home, and they quickly find themselves haunted by the mischievous ghost. Beetlejuice is enlisted to help them, but as usual, his methods are far from conventional.

The trailer also confirms the return of Winona Ryder as Lydia Deetz and Catherine O'Hara as Delia Deetz. Newcomers to the cast include Winona Ryder's Stranger Things co-star Sadie Sink as Lydia's daughter and Alec Baldwin as an exorcist.

Beetlejuice 2 is directed by Tim Burton and written by Seth Grahame-Smith. The film is produced by Plan B Entertainment and Warner Bros. Pictures.
